The Audain Art Museum is proud to announce a special exhibition, Stone and Sky: Canada’s Mountain Landscape. Lawren Harris and the Group of Seven shaped a vision of the landscape that remains synonymous with Canadian identity. Juxtaposing contemporary depictions of the natural landscape with historical perceptions, this exhibition brings together the work of iconic Canadian artists, including Lawren Harris, Emily Carr, W.P. Weston, Edward Burtynsky, John Hartman, N.E. Thing & Co.(IAIN BAXTER&), Gordon Smith and Kenojuak Ashevak.

Our rugged coastline means you’ll be crossing mountains and oceans, by boats, planes, buses, and bikes. Friends and spectators will have an opportunity to congratulate the riders on their accomplishment as they cross the finish line in Whistler.

Warm up your leg muscles for the steepest 400 meter race in the world as Red Bull 400 returns to conquer the ski jumps of Whistler Olympic Park in the Callahan Valley. Testing both speed and endurance, this race challenges runners to 400 meters from the bottom of the ski jump, straight up to the top. Don’t let the simplicity of the concept fool you, runners will push themselves to the limit with this punishing 400m climb up.

RBC GranFondo Whistler
Location: Vancouver, Sea to Sky Highway, Whistler Olympic Park

Ride this epic 122 km route from Vancouver to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway. Enjoy breathtaking views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, with challenging climbs and plenty of downhill sections. Recreational, advanced and elite level cyclists are all welcome – ride at your own pace and arrive to a warm welcome and big post-race celebration in Whistler.

Whistler Village Beer Festival
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Beer in the mountains – it just feels right. This year marks the 6th annual Whistler Village Beer Festival, which means even more craft beer celebrations. New to 2018, a SIXTH day of programming has been added to enhance the feature food pairing dinners, unique cask nights, live music, and of course, the incredible two-day Main Event at Olympic Plaza. The Main Event, hosted on Saturday and Sunday will feature over sixty breweries and guests can try over 120 of the best craft beers and ciders BC has to offer, with some nation-wide and international brews will be available as well.
