Whistler Vacation Club at Twin Peaks is a Not-for-Profit Washington State Corporation, and a Member owned boutique Club offering beautiful, private and spacious condo units conveniently located within walking distance of Whistler Village. Whistler Village will charm you with its winding cobblestone streets, haute cuisine at high altitude, world class shopping and après ski hot spot entertainment at day end.

The Club owns all 28 Units at Twin Peaks and 4 Units at neighboring Northstar. The membership base consists of approximately 1,600 members with varying interests in the Club from odd year, even year, annual, fixed week, gold and platinum season intervals as well as one quarter of our members being points based members. 90% of our Members live South of the border.

The Management and Board of Directors work collaboratively to enhance each members’ and guests’ vacation experience, no big egos about our boutique Club or what we do…..just a committed group prepared to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. We’re classified ‘do-ers’, working constantly on fine tuning our member centric culture to provide an elevated level of member service.

Marlene Coleman nee Scott

General Manager/Executive Director

To understand Marlene’s drive, one merely has to look at her past. Marlene completed her first ultra – distance running race in 1996, a 56 mile (90km) race named Comrades Marathon in South Africa. Her next big race was New York Marathon in 2001, followed by competing in the infamous Ironman Canada Triathlon in 2007, and running Boston Marathon in 2010. Many short triathlons, multiple marathons and ironman events have occurred in between as she’s an avid swimmer, runner, and keen cyclist. Marlene participates in the Vancouver to Whistler Gran Fondo each year, representing an Italian cycling club founded in Tuscany, Italy.

Marlene received her strata and rental real estate license in 2008 from the University of British Columbia and added an Advanced Strata Management License from Langara College.

Her competitive nature and extensive education and business experience is the cornerstone to understanding the fundamentals of financial management, budgets, goals and objectives and in providing value to our Club.

Marlene established a sound business foundation at a young age, having founded a candy manufacturing company in South Africa which distributed high end candy products to retail outlets throughout South Africa, Australia and North America. She sold the business and studied to receive her Executive MBA before arriving in Canada in 1998.

Her eye for innovation, business acumen and a commitment to clean principled management has been the key to her leadership and success.

Doug Meredith

Chief Financial Officer

• Detailed Financial Manager with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail with over 40 years of financial experience in the forestry, pulp and paper industry.
• Previous position was Directory, Strategy and Planning responsible for the coordination of the monthly forecasting and annual planning process for the company with sales in excess of $1.8 billion.
• Worked closely with the CEO and CFO to provide analytical and financial support for material sent to the Board of Directors.
• Worked on numerous special studies including assessing the viability of merging or purchasing other companies that would complement existing facilities.
• Recognized as someone who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve processes and eliminate duplication.
• Served as the Strata Treasurer for own condo complex for 7 years and continue to provide financial guidance.

Rita De La Cruz

CPA, CGA

Rita is from the Philippines and migrated in Canada in February 2013. For the last 10 years she worked as an Accountant in different industries such as non-profit organization and government owned controlled corporation from her home country, before she left to live here in Canada for good.  She continued her fashion with number crunching and got her designation as Certified General Accountant in September 2015. Rita joined the company in February 2016 and plays the role as an Accountant to help the CFO in the preparation of reliable financial reports of the company.

Roberta Ryland

Marketing Manager

Roberta was born and raised in beautiful White Rock, BC and continues to live close by.  A mother of 4 little boys that keep her more than busy, when Roberta finds some free time her favorite thing to do is to go on nature walks with her kids and dogs anywhere near water.

Most summers you can find Roberta travelling around BC racing a… monster truck.  Winters are mostly spent at kids hockey games and on snowboards with the family.  Roberta has a background in marketing, custom brokerage, and design work.

Tanya Rodriguez

Member Service Manager

Tanya is our member services manager, who comes to us with 12 years experience in customer relations management. She loves to travel and is a foodie! She has traveled to many countries around the world, and has a strong interest in history, culture, and exotic cuisine.
 In her free time she can be spent taking her bulldogs to the beach, baking goodies, kayaking, and  hiking.

Liza Johnson

Rental Inventory Manager

Liza Johnson is the new Rental Inventory Manager for the Whistler Vacation Club,  she brings over ten years experience in Administrative Management and more recently has been doing payroll.  She has experience as a Property Management Assistant/ Office Manager and prides herself on her organization skills as well as the ability to streamline various processing.

On a personal note Liza is very active and enjoys her 5am workouts which she rarely misses, yes she is a morning person !   Also enjoys being active outdoors with her son, her pride and joy !
